Ewina Fung, MD

Ewina Fung, MD is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist practicing with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group.  

Dr. Fung graduated from Princeton University, magna cum laude with a bachelor's of arts degree, and earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles.  She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was the administrative chief during her residency.

Dr. Fung received several awards throughout her residency and training including The Gregory Dantzler Chief Resident Teaching Award from the Department of OB/GYN at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and The Edward A. Langdon Award for compassion and humanitarian qualities from the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA.

Dr. Fung has co-authored articles in various peer-reviewed journals including Gynecologic Oncology and the Journal of Graduate Medical Education.  She has presented original research at multiple scientific meetings at the national level.  Dr. Fung is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  

Dr. Fung has participated in several medical mission trips supporting international health initiatives, particularly to Guatemala, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Mexico. She is proficient in Spanish and Cantonese.
