Blood and Marrow Transplant Program Expert Team
The physicians who staff Cedars-Sinai's Blood and Marrow Transplant Program are committed to better understanding blood-based cancers. Cedars-Sinai's transplantation staff includes oncologists from many different areas of specialized medicine. Working jointly with them is our staff of caring, specially trained oncology and case management nurses. Rounding out the healthcare team are pharmacists, dietitians, psychologists, social workers, data management experts, occupational and physical therapists, and other key healthcare professionals.
The goal of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai is to maintain the highest standard of healthcare excellence. With that as a primary guiding principle, the program director demands that doctors who practice in this unit meet strict requirements before being accepted as staff members. These qualifying requirements are set jointly by the Medical Staff Constitution and the program's Executive Committee.
