Fataneh (Fae) Majlessipour, MD, is Associate Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Pediatric Services and the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
As an author, Dr. Majlessipour has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Anticancer Research, Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Blood. Several of her articles and abstract presentations focus on drug-resistant leukemic cells. She has lectured extensively on topics such as childhood lymphoma, late effects of childhood cancer, pediatric brain tumors and more.
Dr. Majlessipour is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Majlessipour earned her medical degree from the Isfahan School of Medicine, University of Medical Sciences in Isfahan, Iran. She completed a pediatric internship and residency and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Children's Hospital of Orange County in Orange, California. She is fluent in French and Farsi.
