Heart Age Nomogram
Your heart has its own age. It can be older, younger or the same as your chronological age. The age of your heart depends on many factors, including cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, and whether you smoke. A coronary calcium scan (CCS) can tell you your heart's age based on you CCS score (in the first column) and your chronological age (find your chronological age across the top of the table).
- Find the row with your coronary calcium score listed.
- Go across to the column for your chronological age.
- The figure in the cell is your heart's age.
Please call (310) 423-8000 and press 15 to schedule an appointment. You will need to provide the phone number of a physician to whom the results will be sent.
