PET Brain

It has significant implications in diagnosing Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy and other neurological conditions. PET can also discriminate Parkinson's disease from other muscle tremor movement disorders, and help doctors monitor the impact of treatments.

In addition, PET can also help determine if a brain tumor is benign or malignant, when recurrence is suspected, or differentiate between scar tissue and tumor regrowth.
