Movement Disorders Fellowship

Under the direction of Michele Tagliati, MD, FAAN, the movement disorders fellowship includes comprehensive training in a broad range of movement disorders. The fellow will take an active role in structuring patient management and learning interventional therapies, including pharmacotherapy, local injections of botulinum and management of deep brain stimulation (DBS). Opportunities to attend DBS implant surgeries will be regularly offered to introduce the fellow to the essential principles of functional neurosurgery under the supervision of Adam Mamelak, MD.

Research is a valuable component of this fellowship. During the optional second year, fellows have an opportunity to focus on specific clinical studies in collaboration with members of the Department of Neurology.
