Cedars-Sinai’s multidisciplinary approach takes into consideration patients’ whole lives, including but not limited to the out-of-control movement of muscles. Patients with movement disorders also can suffer from depression, anxiety, cognitive problems, and speech and sleep problems. They may need physical and speech therapy, psychiatric help or social work support.
