Course Description

The multi-disciplinary faculty of the Department of Neurosurgery offers this comprehensive, one-day conference to bring participants up to date on the most recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of adult brain tumors.  The conference seeks to educate patients and their caregivers on the latest research that has been translated into treatments for brain tumors.  It will include a discussion of promising therapeutic discoveries for brain tumors as well as information on other surgical and non-surgical treatment options available today.  Participants will also have the opportunity to hear about the latest information on the effects of diet and alternative treatments for brain tumors, as well as the emotional aspect of living with this disease.
