The orthopedic surgeons at the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center are among the leading experts in hip and knee replacements in the country.
Participating physicians must meet strict experience and training criteria. All surgeons are board certified in orthopedics, and many are fellowship trained, adding a yet higher level of expertise.
Many of the center's surgeons participate in research and publish findings in the joint replacement field. They also consult in the development of joint prostheses and train other physicians in the latest surgical techniques.
The center's physicians work closely with each other and referring physicians to determine the best pre- and post-operative care for each patient and ensure continuity of care. The team uses clinical pathways to establish intermediate and long-term goals, which results in more efficient, cost-effective care, as well as better outcomes. Indeed, clinical pathways helps us sustain a higher standard of care and greater patient satisfaction. The results of each case are documented in outcomes reports, which are shared with referring physicians.
