Application and Interview Process

All applications should be submitted by the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The application package consists of the following:

  • ERAS application
  • Personal statement
  • Dean's letter
  • USMLE scores
  • Medical school transcript
  • Minimum of three letters of recommendation
  • A recent photo

Please be advised that we require a passing score in the USMLE Step 2 examinations prior to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) match deadline since this is a requirement for starting residency. Graduates from international medical schools should also submit a copy of their current Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate and the Applicant Status Letter from the Medical Board of California.

We will offer 4 positions for the 2012-2013 academic year. Candidates are selected through the NRMP for interviews.
