Tim W. Casarez, MD is Medical Director of Pediatric Echocardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Casarez's main clinical and research interests involve pediatric heart transplantation.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Casarez is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition to his work at Cedars-Sinai, he volunteers at the Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles.

Dr. Casarez received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed a residency at the University of California, San Francisco Department of Pediatrics and a fellowship at Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA.
