Pharmacy Services Teaching Program

Pharmacists have a number of opportunities to serve as preceptors and provide education to clinicians. The Department of Pharmacy Services is affiliated with schools of pharmacy in California and has an ASHP-accredited Residency Program in Pharmacy Practice. Specialty residencies are also provided. The Teaching Program creates an environment that enables pharmacists to maintain a leading-edge practice. The program includes:

  • Residency Program (four to seven residents a year)
  • Student Clerkship Program (70 to 90 students a year)
  • Lectures to doctors, pharmacists, nurses and technicians
