Dr. Berkley received his medical degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in neurology at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He also completed a fellowship in eplilepsy at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
