Human Factors in OR Efficiency and Surgical Outcomes - Bruce Gewertz, MD

A multidisciplinary team of experts in process improvement, human factors research and trauma care are testing the efficacy of new processes and technology in peri-operative trauma care.  The research programs primary goals are to measurably improve the efficiency and effectiveness of acute trauma care through innovations in communication, technology, workflow, and behavior. This project is pursued in collaboration with the US Army’s TATRC group.
