5K Run and Friendship Walk for Ovarian Cancer

The 7th Annual run for her ® 5K Run and Friendship Walk will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011.  The purpose of the run for her event is to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and generate support for Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.  Since the inaugural race, the event has raised nearly $4 million and has become one of the largest of its kind in the United States.  Through the virtual “Sleepwalkers Across America” program, people may register in all fifty states to support ovarian cancer awareness and research.
