Additional diagnostic testing may be ordered if indicated. A copy of the consultation is available by request and can be sent to your primary care physician or other healthcare provider.

Is cardiac risk assessment covered by health insurance?

Risk assessment may or may not be covered by your medical insurance because some insurers do not provide preventive coverage.  The Streisand Women's Heart Center can provide information about what to ask your insurance carrier to determine if risk assessment is covered.  A referral from your primary physician can sometimes facilitate insurance coverage.
