Appropriate Blood Clot Prevention Treatment Given
Certain types of surgery carry of risk of a patient developing blood clots.* Different types of treatment can be used to help prevent blood clots. Treatment can be blood-thinning drugs, special stockings or mechanical devices for exercising the legs.
