Rapid changes in medicine dictate rapid changes in medical practice. At Cedars-Sinai, continuing medical education courses are offered each year to keep our physicians on the leading edge of medical practice.
Our experienced continuing medical education staff arranges for a wide variety of courses in cooperation with our medical staff and faculty physicians. Physician experts from around the world frequently are featured at Cedars-Sinai continuing medical education courses.
Single focus and multidisciplinary educational offerings are designed to improve the quality of care offered by Cedars-Sinai and its medical staff. Our particular focus is on achieving excellent patient outcomes in a world of increasingly constrained medical resources.
In November of 2005, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) awarded Cedars-Sinai Medical Center "Accreditation with Commendation", (the maximum award- a six-year certification period). Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is proud to have achieved exemplary status in two consecutive surveys.
