Research Focus

Molecular studies of genitourinary tract pathophysiology focused on molecular mechanism of prostate and bladder cancer metastasis, and biomarker discovery for interstitial cystitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (IC/CPPS) diagnosis

Current investigations include:

Non-invasive biomarker discovery for IC diagnosis
Understanding of microbiota and proteome of IC
Identification of predictive gene set for chemoresistant bladder cancer
