Simon K. Lo, MD is Director of the Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Lo's interests include the diagnosis and management of pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer and bile duct diseases. He is an expert in ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound and a variety of specialized endoscopic technologies.
Dr. Lo is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and International Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Association. He has written articles for such peer-reviewed publications as the Annals of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Annals of Surgery.
Dr. Lo received his bachelor's degree from Queens College, City University of New York, and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. After an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)-Wadsworth Veterans Administration Medical Center, Dr. Lo completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the UCLA Integrated Gastroenterology Training Program and post-graduate training in biliary endoscopy at the University of Amsterdam.
