Inventors and Researchers

Cedars-Sinai has been at the forefront of medical and scientific advancement for more than a century. We rank in the top-tier of non-university hospitals nationwide that receive competitive research funding from the National Institutes of Health — a sign of our longstanding commitment to the highest quality of disease-oriented research.

Cedars-Sinai's Technology Transfer Office consistently ranks among the best for its high commercialization success. Cedars-Sinai is number six out of 28 among its peer institutions in the amount of running royalties received by the program, as reported in the 2012 Association of University Technology Managers Royalty and Income and Licensing Survey. The association is a leader in soliciting, compiling and publishing the academic technology transfer data of all major U.S. research institutions, universities and hospitals.

The technology transfer program has brought in more than $150 million in the past 10 years in technology related licensing income.

We are always seeking new partners who share our drive to advance scientific and medical advancement.
