Division of Informatics

Through education, research and service activities, the Division of Informatics seeks to advance the development and use of information technology for discovery, education, decision-making, research, healthcare delivery and individual academic growth. In addition, the division aspires to increase the awareness of informatics resources available at Cedars-Sinai.

Division of Informatics faculty and members are engaged in a broad range of informatics education and research, as well as scholarship and service activities. Faculty and members may be involved in curriculum development and the education delivery portion of academic training programs. Where appropriate, our members aim to translate foundational and applied scholarship into practice in the areas of education, research informatics, bioinformatics, clinical informatics and public health informatics at Cedars-Sinai.

The vision of the Division of Informatics is to serve as a catalyst for inquiry and discovery across Cedars-Sinai.
