The Goldhaber Laboratory occupies ~1000 square feet in the Davis Research Building adjacent to the Saperstein Critical Care Tower. The lab has a dedicated Leica SP5 laser scanning confocal microscope specially outfitted with patch clamp and bridge clamp setups as well as custom-designed perfusion and laser synchronization systems. There are two additional patch clamp setups outfitted with epifluorescence photometry, and one giant patch setup for oocytes. There is also a broad array of molecular biology and biochemistry equipment along with incubators for cell and tissue culture. High performance computers are also used for image analysis.
