Patient Education Seminars

The Center for Weight Loss offers free educational seminars for anyone interested in learning more about the weight loss surgery options offered at Cedars-Sinai. Risks, benefits, complications and the process are discussed. Presentations are given by one of our physicians and the Clinical Program Coordinator.

Attending this seminar is the first step toward surgery.

After the seminar, you may schedule a consultation with one of our bariatric surgeons. You will need to fill out these forms and bring them with you to the consultation. A copy of the forms will be provided to you at the seminar.
