Rabbi Sarah Barukh is an ACPE associate certified educator and serves as a supervisor in training for the Cedars-Sinai Clinical Pastoral Education Program. She is also a Jewish chaplain, board certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains.

Rabbi Barukh earned her rabbinic ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University, along with a master's in rabbinic studies. She spent time in Israel studying at Hebrew University's Rothberg International School and at The Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem.

She also served as a rabbinic intern for Community Tikvat Jacob in Manhattan Beach, California, and as an educator at Camp Alonim in Simi Valley, California, and Los Angeles Hebrew High School.

Prior to joining the Cedars-Sinai Spiritual Care Department, Rabbi Barukh served as a chaplain intern at both Cedars-Sinai and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where she began her clinical pastoral education (CPE) training. She has completed four units of CPE.

At Children's Hospital, Rabbi Barukh focused on patients and families of diverse religious backgrounds in the oncology and cardiovascular intensive care units. At Cedars-Sinai she sees patients throughout the medical center and specializes in supporting patients and families coping with long-term respiratory illnesses and liver/kidney transplants.
