Evish Kamrava, MD
Interventional Spine Physician
A board-certified physiatrist, Evish Kamrava, MD, specializes in the nonoperative care of spinal disorders, interventional pain management techniques, musculoskeletal and sports disorders, and electrodiagnostic studies.
After earning a bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Education from UCLA, Dr. Kamrava went on to earn his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine, St. George’s, Grenada. Once he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Kamrava went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas, and his fellowship in Interventional Spine at The Spine Institute, Santa Monica.
Dr. Kamrava has given numerous presentations to professional meetings including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Scoliosis Research Society. He also has published work in textbooks and on websites, including Spinal Injection Procedures (2010), and eMedicine.com. He has presented on his areas of expertise at the local and national levels.
A member of several professional organizations, Dr. Kamrava is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, International Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, North American Neuromodulation Society and American Pain Society.
