Amy K. Weimer, MD
Amy Weimer, MD is a board-certified internist and pediatrician with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.
Dr. Weimer completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University in Providence, RI, where she received a bachelor's degree with honors in neuroscience. Dr. Weimer received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics (Med/Peds) in 2003 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in Med/Peds and subsequently as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Weimer teaches resident physicians of both the Med/Peds and Pediatrics Training Programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Weimer has received several awards through her training, including the John and Judith Smith Scholarship for Excellence in Undergraduate Medicine, and the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center award for Primary Care Pediatrics. Dr. Weimer is proficient in Spanish and American Sign Language.
