Suzanne Silverstein, MA, ATR
Suzanne Silverstein, MA, ATR is founding director of the Cedars-Sinai Share and Care Program, leading the center since its inception in 1981. She serves on the Cedars-Sinai Community Benefits Committee and previously served as president of the Southern California Art Therapy association and treasurer of the American Art Therapy Association.
Among many other honors, Silverstein has received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Art Therapy Association for outstanding dedication and contributions to the field of art therapy. In addition, Silverstein received the Cedars-Sinai President's Award and the Crystal Vision, Community Hero Award from the Employees Community Fund of Boeing California. A former member of the Board of Trustees of Immaculate Heart College, she has also served on the faculty of the Art Therapy Program at Immaculate Heart and Loyola Marymount Colleges.
Silverstein has delivered numerous presentations to national and local audiences on art therapy and children in trauma.
