Health Lecture Series

Our popular health education lecture series brings Cedars-Sinai physicians, nurses, dieticians and others into the community to share life-enhancing and life-saving information about healthy living and disease prevention.

With our help, people from all walks of life gain valuable insights on topics ranging from nutrition, diabetes and weight management, to prevention of stroke and skin cancer and the importance of regular exercise.

Organized in collaboration with our many community partners, who have first-hand knowledge of community needs, these lectures are offered free of charge at community centers, places of worship and other locations throughout Los Angeles. In fiscal year 2012 alone, we reached more than 2,300 participants at seven locations.
