A young person’s first experiences in a healthcare setting, being part of a team that makes a difference in other’s lives, can be just what it takes to convince them that a career in medicine is right for them.
Our Teen Volunteers are 14-18 years old, and may perform either clinical or clerical duties. On the clinical side, they help with patient care by interacting with patients, assisting at the nursing station, delivering flowers and magazines, for example. In the office, clerical volunteers help by answering phones, filing, performing computer work and other general office projects.
