Why You Should Attend

This conference will explore the challenges and opportunities for clinicians and healthcare professionals managing patients with Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is the 14th-leading cause of death in the United States. An estimated 1.5 million individuals have Parkinson's, with approximately 60,000 new cases diagnosed every year.

To meet the needs of this patient population, this conference will bring together expert faculty with unique, multidisciplinary scientific and clinical backgrounds to update participants on recent advances in the multidisciplinary care approach, cognitive changes, medication management, deep brain stimulation and new devices. Other topics to be addressed include the importance of healthy sleep habits, managing depression and anxiety, emphasis of gait and balance, and the influence of developing a healthy lifestyle.
