Cytopathology Fellowship

The Cytopathology Fellowship is an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited program that provides comprehensive training in diagnostic cytopathology, including fine needle aspiration performance, laboratory processing, specimen screening, intra-procedural evaluation and diagnostic interpretation and reporting. The program's mission is to provide fellows outstanding education in all aspects of cytopathology to practice as an outstanding academic or community cytopathologist, prepare them to pass the American Board of Pathology Cytopathology subspecialty exam and become effective educators. The program provides ample resources including a generous annual educational stipend and support for clinical and translational research.

Training & Curriculum

Thorough training in all facets of cytopathology including techniques and skills for diagnostic interpretation and reporting. Fellows have abundant exposure to both gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytopathology.
