To be considered for an interview, all applicants must apply via Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), July 1–Dec. 1, 2016.
Applicants must have on file at least two letters of recommendation and a letter from the residency program director verifying satisfactory performance in a current or former residency program. A minimum of three letters is required, but applicants may submit up to four via ERAS. The person writing the recommendation has occasionally sent additional letters of recommendation directly to our office.
To apply for 2017, you must submit the following to ERAS:
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Letters of recommendation (one from most recent residency program director and at least two additional letters)
- USMLE transcript
- ECFMG status report, if applicable
- Personal statement
Interviews for the 2017 academic year will take place during September and October 2016.
