No. Another person may not receive copies of your medical record without a consent form authorizing Cedars-Sinai to release copies to him or her.
We are open Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm PT. We are closed on national holidays and are open Saturday by appointment only.
Your request will be fulfilled within 10 business days.
We can mail the copies to the address you state on the authorization form, or you may pick them up at our office during our business hours.
Labor and delivery medical records are kept for 25 years. All other adult medical records are kept for 10 years. The records of patients who were 18 years or younger at the time of treatment are kept for 25 years.
Call your doctor's office for help. We do not keep private physician office medical records.

Cedars-Sinai does not keep birth certificates. You may ask for a copy from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.
