Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute
Membership in the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute is available to Cedars-Sinai faculty and medical staff who have an interest in cancer, delivery of cancer care, cancer-related research, clinical trials and training, and who meet the criteria outlined below. Members of other designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) centers are not eligible.
To be eligible for full membership, one must be a member of the Cedars-Sinai faculty or medical staff, and satisfy one of the following requirements:
Clinical Program Member
Clinical program members are Cedars-Sinai faculty and medical staff who are primarily dedicated to cancer patient care. Clinical program members do not need to have academic contributions and accordingly are not eligible for inclusion in a P30 Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) for NCI designation.
An associate member must be part of the Cedars-Sinai faculty or medical staff and satisfy one of the following requirements:
Member in Training
Members in training are postdoctoral fellows, project scientists or clinical fellows engaging at least 80 percent effort in cancer research/care. Members in training are not eligible for inclusion in a P30 CCSG for NCI designation.
