Exercise is a powerful tool. It can combat cancer-related fatigue, improve strength, enhance balance, fight depression, and help gain control over one’s life. There is also emerging evidence that it can help with survival after cancer.
Beginning an exercise program during or after cancer treatment may be daunting for athletes and exercise novices alike. Cedars-Sinai is proud to offer a personalized exercise program tailored to meet individualized patient needs. After a comprehensive fitness and medical evaluation, patients will participate in a three-month exercise program conducted in a safe environment supervised by a cancer-trained therapist.
