The significant variation in the presentation of individual patients and families with aortic aneurysm and dissection has prompted investigation regarding the genetic abnormalities that may be involved. Experts at the Aortic Program are involved with investigational use of newest minimally-invasive techniques including branch-vessel stent grafting from the aortic valve to the iliac artery bifurcation.
