The Ligament of Treitz is located at the position at which the duodenum has crossed midline and ascended again to the level of the first portion of the duodenum.  Demonstration of a normal anatomical configuration, i.e., absence of intestinal malrotation, essentially rules out a midgut volvulus.    

What would be an appropriate next diagnostic imaging study?
