MRI Brain with CSF flow is used to evaluate:
- Hydrocephalus (increased brain fluid)
- Cases of flow obstruction, such as:
- Aqueductal stenosis
- Normal pressure hydrocephalus
CSF Flow with Flexion and Extension
In certain cases, we take additional images with the patient's head and neck in different positions to see if CSF flow findings change in different positions.
