- NICU Good Beginnings helps families of newborns hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit through support groups, education and counseling.

For hospital care, Cedars-Sinai has a pediatric inpatient unit supported by a world-class neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric intensive care unit.

Maxine Dunitz Children's Health Center is supported by one of Southern California's largest neonatal intensive care units and a pediatric intensive care unit. These units qualify Cedars-Sinai for designation by the California Department of Public Health as a pediatric critical care center. Children who come to Maxine Dunitz Children's Health Center also benefit from all the skills, technology and research of a major academic medical center.

Keeping children healthy throughout our community is a vital mission of the Maxine Dunitz Children's Health Center. Through COACH for Kids®, the center's two mobile medical units provide no-cost health and social services to underserved communities across 28 Los Angeles ZIP codes.
