What is My CS-Link™?

My CS-Link is a secure online health management tool that connects you to portions of your personalized health information, allowing you to:

- Request appointments
- View upcoming and past appointments
- Manage prescription renewals
- View your health summary, current list of medications and test results, as released by your physician
- Communicate with your physician's office

Currently, My CS-Link provides access to outpatient medical records only.

How does My CS-Link allow me to better manage and understand my health?

My CS-Link centralizes key parts of your medical information in an easy-to-use format. It allows you to receive electronic health reminders and communicate with your physician's office at a time that is convenient for you. Additionally, your medical information from Cedars-Sinai is integrated into one record to provide better coordinated care.

Do I need any special computer equipment to use My CS-Link?

No. All you need is access to a computer, an email account and an Internet connection.

Who is eligible to join?

If you are a Cedars-Sinai patient, and your doctor uses My CS-Link, you are eligible for a My CS-Link account.

How do I sign up for My CS-Link?

The next time you visit your physician's office, ask for an activation letter, which will include a one-time use access code for your personal My CS-Link account. Go to and click the "Sign Up Now" link. Complete the online My CS-Link sign-up form by entering the requested information. The information you provide is confidential and processed through a secure website.

How do I activate my account?

Once you receive an activation letter from your physician's office, you can register to use the site.

How can I become a Cedars-Sinai patient and begin using My CS-Link?

If you are not a Cedars-Sinai Medical Group patient but would like to become one, please call 1-800-CEDARS-1 (1-800-233-2771).

Can I email my primary care physician through My CS-Link?

Yes. You can communicate with your primary care physician and some specialists via My CS-Link. When you activate your personal My CS-Link account, you will be asked to provide your email address so you can be sent a notice to log in to your account whenever new information is available. Confidential patient information from your Cedars-Sinai healthcare team will be located in secure messages that only you can see by logging into your My CS-Link account.

Will my physician contact me through My CS-Link?

Yes. When your physician releases select test results, a message may be included to help you better understand the significance of the information you receive. You may also get secure messages from your physician about other health-related matters through your My CS-Link account.

Does every Cedars-Sinai patient automatically have My CS-Link?

No. Though we encourage you to sign up for My CS-Link so that you may benefit from its many convenient uses, a My CS-Link account can only be created at your request. We respect your personal preference regarding communicating with your physician. Cedars-Sinai does not require anyone to sign up for My CS-Link.

Is my My CS-Link health information secure?

We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal ID's and passwords. Each person controls his or her password and the account cannot be accessed without that password. My CS-Link uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your My CS-Link session. Unlike conventional email, all My CS-Link messaging is completed while you are securely logged on to our website.
