Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department

We provide rehabilitation services to individuals who are recovering from an illness or an injury. Each patient is assessed to identify his or her rehabilitation needs. Individualized treatment plans are created based on the patient's goals, condition and ability to function. A team of experts with specialties in a variety of fields carry out treatment plans.

Acute Therapy Services
Acute therapy services are provided to patients in the medical and surgical (adult and pediatric) units of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center who can benefit from therapeutic services including physical, occupational and speech-language therapies and neuropsychology services.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit

Inpatient rehabilitation services are provided in a dedicated 28-bed unit on the Medical Center's seventh floor. The unit offers intensive rehabilitation therapy to individuals with physical and cognitive limitations.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Outpatient rehabilitation services are provided at the Mark Goodson Building adjacent to the main medical center.  Our comprehensive services include orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation and hand therapy.
