Post-Professional Programs/Residency Opportunities
We are accepting applications for the following residency programs.
Occupational Therapy Residency Program
Cedars-Sinai Acute Therapy Services offers an Occupational Therapy Residency Program in Physical Rehabilitation accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. This yearlong postgraduate residency focuses on best practices and therapeutic intervention of occupational therapy in an acute therapy setting. This program prepares the resident for board certification in physical medicine.
Physical Therapy Residency Programs
Since 2001, Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Rehabilitation Services has offered an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. This yearlong postgraduate residency focuses on improving the orthopedic evaluation, examination and treatment skills of physical therapists with the goal of improving outcomes for our patients. This program prepares the resident for board certification in orthopedics.
Our Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program, housed in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Neuro Clinic, has been accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2015. This yearlong post-graduate residency focuses on developing skills in the evaluation and treatment of the neurologic population through structured mentoring along with didactics. This program prepares the resident for board certification in neurology.
Since 2013, Cedars-Sinai Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has offered postdoctoral fellowship programs within our neuropsychology services. This two-year residency focuses on providing candidates with clinical, didactic and academic training to produce competent clinical neuropsychologists.
Our clinical education program has active contracts with schools across the United States for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and neuropsychology.
