The Psychiatry Department at Cedars-Sinai works to discover new behavioral healthcare delivery strategies that will improve patients’ overall health and wellbeing.
Grand Rounds and Conferences
The Psychiatry Department hosts an annual continuing medical education program focused on consultation psychiatry. The course, Pain: State-of-the-Art Psychiatric and Medical Management, is especially designed to meet the needs of psychiatrists and physicians who are interested in acquiring current knowledge about the application of evidence-based models during the course of providing and requesting psychiatric insight into the best practices in both acute and chronic pain.
The Psychiatry Department also participates in Neurosciences Grand Rounds, which offer insights into the treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions, as well as the management and diagnosis of neurological disorders.
The sessions are on the third and fourth Fridays of each month.
