The Joint Commission has established immunization guidelines based on recommendations from a 2006 National Quality Forum Immunization Workgroup. These guidelines for influenza and pneumonia vaccination apply to all patients, regardless of the reason they were admitted to the hospital.
Cedars-Sinai's performance compared to other medical centers and hospitals around the nation and the state is highlighted below. This measure is reported by hospitals during those quarters of the year when influenza vaccines are typically given, January - March, and October-December. Data is not collected during April-June or July-September.
