Fan Laboratory

The Fan Laboratory conducts research on the development and clinical applications of novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. Our efforts have been focused on several clinical applications, including neurovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery disease and cancer. The Fan Lab develops and optimizes MRI methods to accommodate different clinical needs such as creating lesion-specific novel image contrast, increasing image signal-to-noise ratio and imaging speed, and investigating new disease biomarkers. The mission of the Fan Laboratory is to develop innovative, accurate and reliable imaging solutions to provide precise disease management.

The Fan Laboratory is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Biomedical Imaging Research Institute and the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
