Ley Laboratory

The Ley Laboratory studies traumatic brain injury and other topics related to surgery, trauma and critical care. Our mission is to investigate novel approaches for the treatment of traumatic brain injury including beta-adrenergic receptor inhibitors, anti-inflammatory strategies and antioxidants. Eric J. Ley, MD, FACS, is a surgeon specializing in trauma services in the Department of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai. He is also director of the surgical intensive care units and director of the Surgical Critical Care Residency Program.

The Ley Laboratory is affiliated with the Surgery Department, Trauma Program and Critical Care Medicine.
