Training & Curriculum

Experience for fellows in the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship is well balanced between direct clinical care of patients and supervision of residents. Approximately 45 percent of the required case numbers are obtained with the fellow as the primary anesthesia provider under the supervision of a faculty anesthesiologist. Fellows are able to augment their roles as teachers and gain experience in supervision through regularly working with residents.

The Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship consists of 12 calendar months of clinical and didactic teaching.
