Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
Led by some of the nation’s best educators in health science, our programs are at the forefront of translational medicine and healthcare innovation.
The one-year, ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai is designed to train future leaders in academic surgical critical care and trauma through a comprehensive and rigorous clinical and educational experience. There is an option for a second year, non-ACGME Acute Care Surgery Fellowship. Two surgical fellows are accepted each year.
Fellows gain extensive experience in the management of critically ill and injured patients across a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, trauma, vascular, cardiothoracic, transplant and neurosurgery.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the American Board of Surgery Examination for the Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgical Critical Care.
