Application Information
The purpose of the Thoracic Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support Fellowship is to provide an academically and clinically rigorous 12-month training program. For board- certified/board-eligible thoracic surgeons interested in pursuing a career in thoracic organ transplantation and assist devices.
Prerequisite Training/Selection Criteria
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification (or eligibility) in thoracic surgery.
- Unrestricted California license as a physician and surgeon.
- Proven excellence in teaching, and in the organization of both clinical and nonclinical activities.
